Woman Charged With Arson After Investigation of July 2021 Fire in Lincolnshire

(Lincolnshire, IL)  A woman is free on a 1-million-dollar bond, after she was charged with purposely starting a fire in Lincolnshire last year. Jisha Kurian is accused of setting a home ablaze in July of 2021, with the alleged intent of harming her husband, who was inside and sleeping when the fire was ignited. No one was injured and the flames were later determined to have been intentionally set. A thorough investigation led to a recent felony charge against Kurian of aggravated arson. According to court records, no future court dates for the 34-year-old have been set.
