Witness in Rittenhouse Case Says He Pulled and Pointed Weapon Before Being Shot

KENOSHA, Wis. (AP) The man who survived getting shot by Kyle Rittenhouse, says he did point a gun at the teen before getting shot. Gaige Grosskreutz told jurors that while he did pull the weapon and pointed it at the then 17-year-old, he had no intentions of shooting. Rittenhouse is accused of firing on Grosskreutz, as well as two others who died. It all took place in Kenosha during August 2020 protests and riots over the Jacob Blake Police shooting. The Rittenhouse team has staked their case on claims of self-defense. If convicted of murder, the now 18-year-old former Antioch resident could get life in prison.
