Jeff grew up with a radio always within an earshot. As a kid he spent countless hours with a tape recorder trying to imitate all of the jocks that he heard on-air.
He attended Columbia College Chicago and earned a bachelor’s degree in sound engineering. Upon graduating from Columbia, Jeff’s first job was as a freelance engineer with NPR. Jeff worked in radio for a brief time before pursuing other work and starting a family.
His love for radio brought him back to broadcasting and he has been at part of 102.3 XLC since August of 2015.
In his spare time, Jeff enjoys spending time with his wife, Hillary and their four children. Jeff loves all types of music, documentaries, professional wrestling, trying new cuisine and visiting farmers markets. Jeff is also big fan of the University of Michigan football program.
