Second Arrest Made in November Gurnee Mills Parking Lot Shooting

(Gurnee, IL) Police in Gurnee have announced a second arrest in a homicide that took place last year in a Gurnee Mills Parking lot. 26-year-old Jonathan Denicolas of Zion was shot and killed last November. In late July, police arrested and charged 33-year-old Jesse Zumaya for his alleged role in the incident. 25-year-old Joey Gonzalez of Vernon Hills was taken into custody last Friday by a U.S Marshals task force. He now faces charges of 2nd degree murder, aggravated battery with a firearm, possession of a weapon by a felon and more. Both Gonzalez and Zumaya are being held on 3-million-dollar bonds.
