Prosecution Rests, Defense Begins in Kyle Rittenhouse Trial

KENOSHA, Wis. (AP) The defense has begun presenting their side of things in the trial of Kyle Rittenhouse. One witness said the former Antioch teen was badly shaken after shooting three men, at one point telling a person who had joined him in an effort to protect businesses from rioters that “my life might be over.” Before the defense began,  prosecutors introduced drone video that gave jurors their closest look yet at the shooting of Joseph Rosenbaum — the initial event that was quickly followed by two more shootings as protesters chased the then 17-year-old. Rittenhouse’s defense is arguing self-defense. He faces life in prison if convicted on the most serious charge.
