Police: Inverness Man and His Son Die, Daughter in ICU After Intentional Poisoning

(Inverness, IL)  Police in Inverness say a man and his son are dead, and his daughter is hospitalized, after a weekend incident involving foul play. Officials say Woo Chang ran a gas powered generator in his home over the weekend, intentionally poisoning himself and his two children with carbon monoxide. The 41-year-old and his 10-year-old son Austin were pronounced dead at the scene, while his unnamed 6-year-old daughter was placed in intensive care. Police say prior to finding the bodies on Sunday afternoon, they had never been called to the home. Inverness is a town in Cook County just south of the Lake County border near Barrington. An investigation into the case is ongoing.
