One Day Later, Mask Mandates Dropped on Public Transportation in Illinois

(Chicago, IL)  One day after most public transportation across the country dropped masking mandates…Illinois has finally followed suit. Governor JB Pritzker said face coverings will no longer be required on public transit, in public transit hubs, or at airports. However, local governments can maintain their own mask mandates on public transportation. The change means O’Hare and Midway, Metra, Pace and the CTA have now gone mask optional, along with most major airlines.
