(Springfield, IL) Lake County State’s Attorney’s officials are being credited with assisting in the break-up of a multi-county burglary ring. Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul says four people have been arrested and warrants are out for two others in the scheme. Raoul says the crime ring stole approximately $400,000 from video gaming machines throughout Illinois including those in Lake and McHenry County. The Lake and DuPage County State’s Attorney’s Offices, Joliet Police and a handful of County Sheriff’s offices, were said to assist in the investigation. Those arrested face charges including burglary, theft and money laundering.
