Man Picked up on Theft Warrants, Gets New Charges in Process

(Waukegan, IL)  A wanted Zion man has been taken to custody, and picked up a new charge in the process. Lake County Sheriff’s officials say Kevin Cisneros was wanted on an outstanding warrant for a theft incident out of Vernon Hills in late July. Cisneros was picked up on that warrant on August 23rd in the Beach Park area, and received a charge for resisting while being taken into custody. According to Lake County Jail records, the 28-year-old faces 8 counts of theft, one count of retail theft, and one count of resisting a peace officer. Bond has been set at 250-thousand-dollars with a court date of September 7th.
