(Grayslake, IL) Lake County Sheriff’s officials say another one of their K9 crew was able to help nab a suspect over the weekend. On Saturday morning, a person fled a traffic crash near Route 45 and Washington Street in the Grayslake area. Sheriff’s K9 Boomer was called in, and was able to get the suspect to surrender, after tracking him. A gun was also found discarded in a nearby leaf pile, and drugs were discovered in the vehicle. The Lake County Sheriff’s Office identified the suspect as Forrest Jackson of Waukegan. According to jail records, the 30-year-old is facing 21 different charges including drug and weapons counts. Bond was set at 750-thousand-dollars…he’s due in court Tuesday.
