(Chicago, IL) Illinois has regained the title of highest gas prices east of the Rocky Mountains. AAA says the average gallon of gas in the state stands at $3.60…8-cents higher than last week and 19-cents above the national average. Lake County prices are the same as the state average. In Wisconsin, prices have also jumped, up to an average of $3.19…22 cents below the national average. Kenosha County remains a bit under the state average at $3.17.
