(Chicago, IL) Illinois continues to have the 11th highest gas prices in the country, and the highest prices east of the Rocky Mountains. AAA says the average gallon of gas in the state costs $3.42, 26-cents higher than the national average. Lake County comes in a touch higher at $3.44. In Wisconsin, the average price for gas is $3.03, 13-cents lower than the national average. Kenosha County is sitting at $3.06 a gallon.
