Grayslake Teen, Two Others Killed in Oklahoma Crash
(Tonkawa, OK) A Lake County teen is dead, along with two others after a crash in Oklahoma. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said the incident took place on Friday night when a vehicle was struck and pinned by a semi about 85 miles south of Oklahoma City near the town of Tonkawa. Killed in the crash was 19-year-old Gavin Short of Grayslake. A 20-year-old Texas man and a 22-year-old Indiana man were also killed. All three were said to be in a vehicle traveling back to the University of Oklahoma after a storm chasing trip to Kansas.
