“Ghost Gun” Sale in Deerfield Leads to Man’s Conviction

(Chicago, IL)  A man is facing possible federal prison time, after selling what’s known as a “ghost gun” in Lake County. Joseph Ghandour of Glenview was accused of selling the weapon, which had no serial number, and was likely made from parts of other guns, to a felon in Deerfield. Ghandour was unaware at the time that his buyer was working with authorities. The 31-year-old now faces up to 10-years behind bars…he’s due for sentencing in June.
