(Chicago, IL) While Illinois no longer has the highest gas prices east of the Rocky Mountains, prices were up again this week. AAA says the average gallon of gas in the state sits at $3.70, 18-cents higher than the national average and 3-cents higher than this time last week. Lake County remains just a bit lower at $3.68. Wisconsin prices are currently averaging $3.29 a gallon, 23-cents lower than the national average but up 5-cents from last week. Kenosha County comes in at $3.27.
