(Woodstock, IL) A former Lake County prosecutor has struck a plea deal over accusations of giving alcohol to a minor in McHenry County. Javaron Buckley Sr. was said to purchase the alcohol and proceeded to give it to a girl under the age of 21 in a hotel room in Woodstock back in 2020. The 34-year-old pleaded guilty to a pair of misdemeanor charges. Sentencing for the one time Lake County State’s Attorney employee is set for early August. Buckley could get up to a year in prison, and fines of up to 10-thousand-dollars.
