(Waukegan, IL) A former employee in the Lake County Coroner’s Office has pleaded not guilty to felony charges. Dana Dingman is accused of recording a video in 2018 of herself telling a family that their loved one had died…and the recording was reportedly made without consent of the family. An investigation took place and the 36-year-old was fired, then hit with charges of using an eavesdropping device without consent and official misconduct. The charges could result in prison for Dingman if she is convicted. She is currently free on bond and due in court in late September.
