Former Grayslake “Serial Stowaway” Gets Prison in Guilty Plea

CHICAGO (AP)  A former Grayslake woman is on her way to prison. Marilyn Hartman has a history of slipping past security at airports around the country, and sneaking onto flights. Hartman was slapped with 3-plus years behind bars after pleading guilty to charges stemming from a trespassing incident at O’Hare in 2019. Those charges included felony counts of criminal trespass and escape from electronic monitoring. It was the latest chapter in the story of the 70-year-old who has been dubbed the “serial stowaway.”
