(Waukegan, IL) Community based Covid testing sites across Illinois will be closing in just a couple of days. Illinois health officials say the 10 locations, which include Waukegan, have seen a major drop in traffic as demand for Covid-19 testing wanes. Those ten community based testing sites will close down on March 31st. Health officials say there are other free independent places to get tested, as well as the availability of at home testing. The latest Covid numbers, released on Friday, show hospitalizations, case rates, and deaths at lows not seen since last Summer.
