(Highland Park, IL) Charges have been announced against a Round Lake man accused of injuring a woman in her hospital bed. Highland Park Police say they were called to the hospital Monday, after an argument broke out between Tevin Hoskins and the mother of his newborn. Officials say the 27-year-old punched the woman in the head, after a dispute over what to name the child. The strike was said to injure the woman enough for her to need stitches. Hoskins has been charged with 2 counts of domestic battery…one causing bodily harm, the other for physical contact. Jail records don’t list the suspect’s bond amount…but court records indicate that Hoskins is due back next Wednesday.
