(Wauconda, IL) Police in Wauconda are crediting the public with helping them catch an alleged hit and run driver. Back in the pre-dawn hours of January 9th, a vehicle left Barrington Road near Main Street for unknown reasons and slammed into three parked cars. The offending vehicle then fled the scene, nearly striking another vehicle in the process. Authorities say Randall Grover of Waukegan was the man behind the wheel that night, and has been arrested. The 24-year-old now faces charges of leaving the scene of an accident, as well as a host of traffic related offenses.
