Aluminum and Chrome
These siblings were abandoned at Save-a-Pet when they were just 10 week old kittens. They lost their big "window of opportunity" and are now 5 years old, still at the shelter. They are extremely bonded and always together so we would never consider splitting them up as it would absolutely destroy them. In a room with over 200 cats, they always find each other. Aluminum is a little more outgoing than Chrome, but when they are together, Chrome sees Aluminum enjoying attention and will let his guard down a bit. Adopting a bonded pair has so many advantages! They have built in playmates so you don't feel guilty about leaving them alone when you go to work all day! It also makes their adjustment to your home go more smoothly since they already have comfort in each other. And best of all, if you want to play with one of them and that cat is taking a snooze, there's always another one ready for action!!
Tyson
This picture is quite funny because, even though Tyson is a big dog, he would not get off my lap! Sometimes he sits completely on my lap and sometimes just the 2-paws up...and will stay there for ever if you let him. While he can be a laid back guy, he can also be playful. He is incredibly smart and will make up this whole repetoire of games, which he will go back to each time you play with him. Tyson started off his life spending all his time in a cold, dark garage, all alone. After a visit from our humane investigator, the family decided to do the right thing..if they didn't have time to work with him and train him so that he could be part of the family, then they should not have a dog. Tyson has been good with other dogs of all sizes as well as cats. Please come out and experience this adorable smile for yourself!
