Diane Ebert - Overnights

Hi everyone,

If you’re curious to know more about me:

I have a cat named Trouble. According to Mike Mason, I drive a Pontiac Fossil. I have no idea what he’s talking about because I don’t think Pontiac ever had a Fossil. My favorite movies are When Harry Met Sally, You’ve Got Mail and Sleepless in Seattle.  If I ever write a book or put out an album I will call it “Virus In My Pocket”. My favorite TV shows are The Office and My Name Is Earl, favorite reality shows are Dancing With The Stars and Biggest Loser.

My parents have been married for more than 30 years and I‘m very lucky to have them. I also have 2 sisters that I love more than anything, a great brother in law and a beautiful niece but my family doesn’t stop there because I come from a large family (lots of aunts, uncles and cousins). I also miss seeing my grandmother as much as I used to. We used to live close, from the time I was an infant thru my teen years and again in college, god I miss seeing her.

I was born in Chicago on the Southside. I grew up about 2 blocks away from Comiskey Park and yes I’m a Sox Fan. Actually worked at the old Comiskey Park the year it closed and I was at the final game. I know the park was falling apart but I wish they would have modeled the new one after it. I moved to Lake County in January of 1991 and I’ve lived here for a long time. (Except for a short stint in Decatur, IL at a country station)

As for growing up in Chicago, I attended the finest schools that Chicago could afford at the time. I still have a lot of great friends that I grew up with that live in the city and the southern burbs that I don’t see as often as I would like. I realized that I wanted to work in radio in my sophomore year in high school. I met a friend, Jim Surin, that was attending Columbia College at the time and it’s all his fault, I was hooked on radio from that point on. If anyone knows Jim please have him contact me, we lost touch a few years ago and would really like to see how he is doing. There are so many stories I have from growing up thru my college years but I’m going to stop now before I start rambling. Oh wait, that’s what I was doing.

Thanks for listening all night and I’d love to hear from you just drop me a line sometime.
