If you would like to share a bit of your good fortune this holiday season, all you have to do is leave a new unwrapped toy at a drop off location (listed below). A toy may seem unimportant to some people, but to a child at Christmas it is the most important thing in the world. A shiny new toy sends a message to a needy child that someone cares, that he or she hasn't been forgotten, that the magic of Christmas hasn't passed him/her by.

Join 102.3 XLC and the United States Marines in making a difference this year by donating to Toys for Tots.
On Friday, December 7, 2012 102.3XLC, along with our sister station ESPN Deportes 1220 AM, will host a drop off event at our station located at 3250 Belvidered Rd. in Waukegan. Stop by anytime between 5AM-9AM to drop of your donation, hang out with Jimmy & Jen who will be broadcasting live from outside, and to say thank you to members of the United States Marines who will be on hand to help us gather your donations. Southpaw, the Chicago White Sox mascot and Sparky from the Chicago Fire will also make appearances!
Can't make it to the event? We've teamed up with NorthSide Community Bank to make dropping off new, unwrapped toys convenient. Toys are being collected thru December 14, 2012. You can drop them off or make a monetary donation at any of the following NorthSide Community Bank branch locations:
